Founded in 2021, Cellgrid Energy Pvt. Ltd. work as innovative research and development company to manufacture state-of-the-art energy storage devices. The company is developing novel battery technology employing dual-ion electrolyte system using its indigenously developed electrodes for non-flammable, fireproof, ultra-fast Super-battery.
The company is engaged in the business activities of manufacturers, traders, distributors, importers, and exporters of Accumulators, Primary cells, Primary batteries, Rechargeable batteries, Dry cells, Fuel cells, Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC), PEM fuel cells, Capacitors, Pseudocapacitors, Supercapacitors, Hybrid capacitors, and other Energy devices and their parts, both in India and on an international scale.

Cellgrid Energy Pvt. Ltd. draws inspiration from the transformative contributions of battery pioneer and Nobel laureate Prof. J.B. Goodenough. We have the legacy to work under the mentorship of  Prof. John B. Goodenough and are determined to continue his legacy for the betterment of the society through scientific innovations.

To provide independent power grids using renewable energy, we are building long-lasting, high-performing, ultra-fast Super-battery for grid-scale energy storage.

The Technology

Coupling Battery technology with Renewable energy
Due to inability of current Li-ion battery technology, the full potential of renewable energy technologies are not realized yet. To develop large-scale electrochemical energy storage solutions, new battery technologies are needed to be developed to enable high-energy density of the electrodes allowing charge transfer at high current rates.

High performing framework structure electrode coupled with dual-ion electrolyte resulted in the super battery that deliver high performance at ultra-high current rate. We are committed to develop the GoodEnough battery using our innovative dual-ion  non-flammable, fireproof Super-battery technology to develop independent mini grids using solar power and batteries for EVs, Home inverters, and portable electronics.

Battery Chemistry
Framework-structured electrode enabling dual-ion reversible intercalation/de-intercalation at ultra-fast current rates are the core of our development to produce non-flammable, fireproof Super-battery for grid-scale energy storage devices.
Our developed novel phosphate-based zeolite structured electrodes enable ultra-fast transport of guest cations and anions to store electrochemical energy at high-current rates.
